Big Aperture Day at the Halifax Public Gardens

Having an appointment on Quinpool Road today, I grabbed my camera and took a walk downtown. I set my F as low as it could go to narrow the depth of field to see what results I would get with my 70-300mm zoom… from f4.6 to f6.0

The challenge with shooting a narrow depth of field is you have to be very careful on just what part of the subject you are focusing on. I still need more practice :-)
