Puntledge River & Estuary Comox

The Puntledge River is a natural boundary between Courtenay and Comox with the the estuaries feeding the Strait of Georgia. These estuaries reminded me of the Brier Island Mud Flats I visited 2 years ago.

Time for Fish & Chips in Campbell River

and enjoy a leisurely drive north and south to visit with friends and family. There are many picturesque beaches & islands to admire between Comox and Campbell River. Over two days we popped in on Miracle Beach, Quadra Island, Oyster Bay and a couple more. Although the water looked inviting, early April is not an opportune time to be lolling about a beach. The fish and chips were pretty good for the record.
