Putting Tofino in our rear view mirrors

we began the drive east across Vancouver Island through Port Alberni, Cathedral Grove on our way to Comox and Campbell River.

I’d never seen the moss grow so thick on the trees, walking into the forest was like entering a storybook… immediate silence, filtered light radiating muted emerald tones throughout. It was spectacular.
