Beer, Fire and Planked Salmon
Got an invite to head just past Liverpool Nova Scotia to Hunts point for a planked salmon feed at my buddies “campsite”. Queue a 38′ foot trailer with all amenities including a refrigerator, satellite tv and a dish washer… livin’ hard in the sticks.
I’ve had planked salmon a few times cooked/smoked near an open fire, and I have to admit that this was the best.I’ve ever had. Basted only with butter and love, the taste and texture was sublime!
